Comment: Congrats Ann on your selection! Ellen - As one of the image selectors, I *generally* agree with your sentiment. I am not that interested in seeing other people's kids. When we choose images, we consider that portraiture is a huge part of photography so we specifically look for good examples of the genre, images that reveal something about the subject. Sometimes, they're kids, sometimes grownups, but always about more than just than just a recognizable face.
