Kodak Picture of the Day: Pitch Anatomy

Photographer: Jodi Esplin

"My 16 year old nephew pitching at a baseball game in Texas.  The fluid motion of a pitcher followed by the call of the umpire always reminds me of summer."

Comment: I love the final image -- great use of Photoshop to capture the fluidity of the pitcher's motion. Congratulations on being chosen as a POTF AND an editor's choice.

Comment: Thank you for the comments, I appreciate them. I took a series of 5 images of him throwing a pitch and combined them using a seperate layer for each image.

Comment: elaine berg, how about showing us some of your pictures?

Comment: How can you write a negative comment about it without any construction? If you feel the need to say you don't like it or that it is no good, at least write why or how you would've made it better.
