Father & Son

"A helping hand for Dad."

In Memory
Receiving word that a photo will be featured at Kodak is a happy occasion, although news that this photo would be featured evoked some initial anxiety. The gentleman being shaved by his son, is a dear friend named Bruce. He fought in the D-Day invasion during WW II as a young man, and lived his life to its fullest for the next six decades.

The reason for my reservation was that the day I received the POTD news, I also received word that Bruce had just passed away. My first thoughts were of Bruce's family, and their thoughts regarding having his image appear as POTD.

We decided that being the fun loving, young at heart, character that Bruce was, he'd probably relish getting a special "good-bye" at Times Square. So, this one's for Bruce .... if you'd known him, you'd have loved him too!
