Verdant Beauty

"This was taken in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We saw the scene just off the side of the road. It was raining at the time, but because of the long exposure the rain is not evident. The deep greens in this image really give me a peaceful feeling every time I view it."

Antelope Slot Canyon

Photographer: Kirk Stamp - United States
Category: Travel/Vacation

"After seeing pictures of a slot canyon, I decided that it was something I needed to experience first hand. This picture was from Lower Antelope Canyon in Paige, AZ and it was taken with my new Z812IS. I had to take several pictures to get the setting just right because of the various amounts of light -- but, I was pleased with this result."
